Club Attendance Bonus
1. Clubs can gain or lose shekels based on win-lost percentage for the just-completed Current Season.
Regular Season Percentage Chart <.800, 17s increase <.700, 10 <.600, 7 <.500, 3 >.500, -3 decreases >.400, -7 >.300, -10 >.200, -17
Note: Clubs finishing at .500 gain or lose nothing; at .600, clubs gain 3 shekels, etc.
Note: A gain/loss does not carry over into the following season.
Note: Winning the Yogi Series: 3s, loser: 1s; winning the World Series: 4s, loser: 1s.
Comentary According to a study on the correlation between winning and attendance, a 0.1 increase in winning percentage (e.g., going from .500 to .600 team) is associated with increasing season attendance by about 170,000 fans per year (or about 2,000 fans per game).
A formula based on 1 shekel equaling $500,000, our 60-game schedule, 406-s cap, and ticket pricing ($67.50) was devised to determine figures in the RSP Chart, above.
Introducing the Club Attendance Bonus will increase the level of interest during the entire season for clubs who are out of the running, eyeing only higher draft picks.

The Bruiser organization chooses to abstain from this vote. Regardless of the Bruisers historic rise and fall in the standings, the crowds have forever packed Bruiser municipal. A -17 is pretty stiff. Perhaps tweaking is called for.

I'm ok with bonuses. I'm not ok with penalties.

What Mr. Luplow has recently noticed are clubs tuning out quicker than ever, not making efforts improve lineups during injury, etc. The penalties are mild compared to missing deadlines, etc.

I like it. We know the future in the BVL and teams are quick to tank. Maybe next year a lottery proposal like they've been kicking around in the NBA to prevent tanking.
